The venue is delightful and stunningly beautiful with courteous staff. the location is very central. - Easy access to pubs and coffee store which are walking distance to the hotel. - Everything is well-maintained. - the room is extremely spacious with a view of the garden as well as a couch. I had a wonderful stay at Metro Hotel in Petaluma with its beautiful venue, friendly staff, central location, proximity to pubs and coffee shops, well-maintained facilities.

I liked the atmosphere. My room was delightfully decorated in a country french style with plenty of room for my stuff. The hotel was close to everything I needed and to downtown. The bed was so comfortable and everything was very clean. I liked everything about it. The price was reasonable.

I did not stay long at the hotel as I arrived very late at night and left early in the morning. The person at the reception is very friendly and welcoming. Hotel has a nice old french touch, bed is confortable. In my case I had a business meeting meeting in Petaluma and location was perfect.

One thing I did not like is that the blackout behind the door was not working well so I had to figure how to lock it so I had privacy in the room.

Good location close to downtown Petaluma within walking distance. Vintage hotel with lots of funky treasures on display. Room was cute with wood floors, clawfoot tub, and reproduction posters from Air France. Maps of Pairs France, cute little cafe atmosphere downstairs. Hotel is 100 years old but maintained well.

It was noisy at night as patrons staying there were loud and came home late and woke us up. We could hear people walking down the hall. The parking for us was on a busy street out front. The continental breakfast was some muffin bread cut up into pieces. The stairs are very steep and there is no elevator.

I had a fantastic vacation stay here and I'm so glad I chose this place.

If you enjoy small European family run hotels, shabby-chic French-style decor in an old building you may fall in love with this charming little hotel. The beds are new and extremely comfortable, the plumbing is new, the rooms spotless, pretty gardens, close to downtown Petaluma, and very good value. If you are looking for a chain-style hotel, where everything is predictable and standardized, this won't be the place to stay. If you are are flexible and enjoy a slightly quirky very individual but pretty with charming atmosphere, then you will probably enjoy staying at the Metro.

The road outside can be a bit noisy. Some of the rooms are in the interior and have skylights instead of windows, but on the plus side are very quiet.

we recommend this hotel to all, loved it. the staff is professional here, the services are great, and location is unbeatable near great restaurants and shops and night life and all the fabulous restaurants and shops in town. the room is reasonably priced. overall amazing food, plus there is sauced bbq & spirits close by.

Luxury hotel that is spotlessly clean with large and well-appointed rooms. Excellent and professional staff. Convenient location for exploring restaurants and bars. Close to Aqus Cafe for a nice cup of tea or coffee. Highly recommended for all visitors.

Ideal Location and Charming Setting 🏞️

This place is situated in a lovely boutique building in a fantastic spot, right near the downtown area. Plus, it's only a quick 10-minute drive away from a regional park.

Have stayed at this inn several times and would happily return. Everything you might need for your weekend is here. We greatly enjoyed the rooms and facilities. A communal kitchen was a nice surprise. The property is in the theater district.
